Cash-out

A cash-out is the action of ending your bet early to collect the stake multiplied by the current multiplier.

In crash games, cashing out is the central decision: wait longer for a higher multiplier and risk losing the bet when the round crashes, or take a smaller, safer win now. Each bet is cashed out on its own, so a player with two bets in the same round can cash them out at different moments.

Some games apply the same idea to other formats. In Vault, players cash out between rounds to bank their multiplier instead of opening another vault. In Plunder Crash, each ship's bet has its own cash-out.

Timing the cash-out is where player skill and nerve come in, even though the crash point itself is fixed in advance. Good game design makes the current cash-out value visible at all times so the decision stays clear.

Example

With two bets of 10 in Neon Rush, a player cashes out the first at 1.50x (15) and lets the second ride; the round crashes at 1.90x, so the second bet is lost.
