A crash game is a casino game in which a multiplier rises from 1.00x until the round "crashes" at a point fixed before the round starts, and players must cash out before that moment to win.
Players place a bet before the round, then watch the multiplier climb. Cashing out locks in the stake multiplied by the current value; if the round crashes first, the bet is lost. The crash point is hidden from players, so the only decision is when to leave.
Because every player in a round watches the same multiplier, crash games are often multiplayer, with live bets and chat. Rounds are short, which suits mobile play. Most modern crash games are provably fair: the crash point is committed with a hash before betting opens and can be checked afterwards.
For operators, crash games are attractive because rounds are fast, rules are easy to explain, and the shared multiplier creates a social moment that keeps players watching between bets.
A player bets 10 and cashes out at 2.40x, collecting 24. Another player waits for 5x, but the round crashes at 3.10x, so their bet is lost.
