Provably fair describes a game that lets players check, after each round, that the result was fixed before they bet and was not changed afterwards.
Before betting opens, the game publishes a cryptographic hash of a secret server seed. The result is derived from that seed, a client seed and a nonce. After the round the server seed is revealed, and anyone can hash it to confirm it matches the commitment and then recompute the result.
Provably fair is different from RNG certification by a test lab: certification checks the generator, while provably fair lets each player check individual rounds. Every Vinco game is provably fair.
For players it builds trust that no one changed a result after the fact; for operators it is a clear way to show the integrity of every round.
A Diver player copies a round's revealed server seed, client seed and nonce into a verifier and gets the same crash point the game showed.
